What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy-based, holistic, ‘light-touch’ modality. With the guidance of a certified practitioner, Reiki re-establishes a normal energy flow of ki (life force energy) throughout the system. Normal energy flow can enhance and accelerate the body’s natural healing ability. Through a series of hand positions, either directly on or just above the body, the Reiki practitioner transfers the natural flow of energy through their body.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki is beneficial and complements all other types of therapy used to treat illness. It is a technique that improves health and enhances the quality of life. Reiki encompasses the whole person - body, emotions, mind and spirit. People experience the benefits of Reiki including relaxation, feelings of peace, security, and well-being.
